📎 AI Summary:
HenkB noticed a new 'Play with:' option in Windows 10 that allows playing certain media files, like .mpg, on his Samsung Smart TV, a feature that wasn't available in Windows 8.1 and only appears for specific file types. He inquires if others have figured out how to enable this feature for more file extensions. kemical suggests that the feature may still be under development and hopes it will gain more functionality in future updates.

My Samsung Smart-TV appeared in the installed devices, like it did in W8.1
And right clicking on a .mpg file, as far as I know, new option appeared 'Play with:' with my Samsung TV. It only appeared when right clicking on .mpg files and not on .vob files as are on Dvd's and are in fact exactly the same.

Has any one figured out how to enable this 'Play with' feature for more extensions?

Nice new option,
Henk

It's probably still under construction like in other areas of the os. Perhaps later updates/Builds will see more functionality?
