Hi folks,
1809 broke a few unexpected things and I'll post if interested. A drag I find myself spending 3 hours or so checking the things that [previous versions broke or reset to then list the new issues. But for now, this one seems interesting and is brand new with 1809:
After 15-20 minutes from a cold boot, I get the following empty temp folders that are persistent:
It coincides with this event (always same hive):
The access history in hive \??\C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Provisioning\Microsoft-Desktop-Provisioning-Sequence.dat was cleared updating 0 keys and creating 0 modified pages.
So I assume they are connected. Neither happened before 1809. Have not found much if anything on this one (unlike the 1534 errors) so thought I would ask. Any insight why this just started happening and how to stop it if it reall is not doing anything? Cannot find a task set for 15 minutes after boot, btw.
