Hello,
I'm running a fairly new HP p6240f/Intel Core II Quad/2.50 Ghz/64bit with Windows 7 Home Premium. I've got a really strange issue.

When I delete a file from either the desktop or a windows explorer window the file "appears" to not go away, but if I double click I get an error that the file cannot be found. If I right click and then click on "Refresh", THEN it disappears.

Any ideas?

Hello, and welcome to the forums :)
This same thing has happened to me numerous times, I found it went away by itself in all instances.
Give it a little time, if it doesn't go away, post back. :)

this is happening to me now also..very anoying..been about a month.and for some reason it seems to go with"windows wont show my file size in explorer..two computers running win 7..only one of them doing it..must be my computer.
