If you don't have Photoshop then try the Windows Paint app. I use this almost all the time to convert to jpeg.Is there a way that I can convert or turn a GIF File and PNG File to a JPEG File and how?

When you say I'll lose trans when you down grade the image, what is trans and how will it affect the picture?
Transparency spaces (top right of this example image) have nothing on them… if you save as a jpeg they will be turned into white
