The issue described below applies to both my Win 7 Home Premium IE11 and Win 8.1 pro IE11

Issue :
IE11 Menu bar > File > Send > the Page by e-mail and Link by e-mail are grayed out.
An image from 'is this an IE11 bug ?'. Two images show Internet Explorer’s menu and toolbar customization with disabled 'Send page/link by e-mail' options.

I have to enable Command Bar > Customize > Add or remove commands > then add the 2 commands to the box on the right side. That way the 2 commands will appear next to Help icon.

Have you tried resetting your IE to default settings and checking your issue.

Resetting IE has no effect.
Wonder if using Google as default home page has any to do with that.
Thing is, Google has always been my home page since 4 years ago.
This issue happens only lately. Don't know how lately.

Chrome is my default browser as well....so I don't think that's it.
