I have lost the IE icon from the drop down task bar on my Sony Vaio laptop.
I have tried the other suggestions on this site but nothing seems to work. All I get when I try to right click and open on Explorer is library information. Any ideas anyone?

First open your IE then Right click IE on Task Bar and click on Pin to Taskbar that will be in Task Bar. If I didn't understand you correctly then post us a screenshot

Bear with me, I have taken a screen shot and saved it as a document but do not know how to attach it to this reply.
