Tried to make a usb recovery drive and got error 0x80070005ox90018

Solution
Download a copy of Macrium Reflect (free). Install it and use it to create a usb boot disk. On a regular basis run disk cleanup and create a backup copy of your system drive on an external hard drive. Recommend you keep the latest three copies. You can create a backup by running Macrium under windows, to recover you will need to boot from the usb stick. You can also run Macrium Reflect to recover individual files/folders.

Use a data recovery program, for example, Partition Recovery, if you had important data on the flash drive. Or you can record the recovery disc again through another program.

Thanx,

I have Reflect already & used it to create a boot USB, but it Mounts something ,then Unmounts it & finishes but "Next" stays grayed out. Nothing goes in the 7.3 GB or the 56 GB USB drive.

I really do not know what is happening, I have tried a few times. ……….nick

Are you saying it "mounts" something when you try to create a boot usb or when you try to boot from it and try to use the booted version of reflect to look at a backed up image?
