The original poster, "daanish," is experiencing issues after upgrading from Vista to Windows 7 Ultimate, specifically losing touchpad features like virtual scrolling. Despite installing the latest Synaptics drivers and checking Toshiba’s website, they only see basic mouse options without virtual scrolling functionality, possibly because the system recognizes the touchpad as a standard mouse. They are seeking further advice to restore full touchpad features.

Thanks for replying

Yes, i've tried this and ive seen the screen shot on the website. on there it says virtual scrolling options but when i installed it only gave options for left and right mouse buttons. I believe that it thinks my touchpad is a mouse because i cant think of another reason for this. Any other ideas would be amazing!
