Hi!

I have an external USB HDD that I want to be able to move between computers. Problem is everytime I move and try to open a folder on the next computer I get the permission error and must take ownership of it with the new computer.

I want to be able to switch the drive between the computers without having to take ownership everytime.

Im assuming there has been some kind of error or should it be like this? Is it possible to fix it without having to format it?

Nevermin I fixed it. I created a new folder on the drive and then made the security settings the same in the old folder. There were a lot of weird usernames that had permissions and some thath should be there were missing.

Now however I have the problem of the disc not spinning down but ill post that in a new thread.
