My HP Laptop DV2000 Vista mousepad jumps all over he place... I cannot type of move mouse properly... anything I can do to update or repair mousepad? thanks ATW

Try the latest HP drivers here:

On my (NOT HP laptop, I have had at least two Microsoft updates for the Synaptic pad. As it is working perfectly, I have marked them as not needed. But it occurs to me perhaps they were intended for HP users.
