Windows 7 .net Framework problem

Last week I posted a question about a "1935 Error" I was getting when trying to install programs Link Removed.

I have since come to find out that even though I have .net Framework 4.0.30319 installed, programs aren't recognizing it and send back error messages telling me I need to install it. I have uninstalled and reinstalled it twice with no effect.

Can someone help me get to the bottom of this?

You could try and remove it completely and then reinstall it again.

It's kind of old school but it's what I would try first.

From what I see, you can get a 1935 error installing pretty much anything in Windows 7 if Windows runs into a problem accessing anything related to the installation.

Thanks... I'll give that a shot tomorrow.

If that doesn't do the trick, I was wondering about running a Win7 repair/upgrade to see if that fixes anything.

Yeah, if that doesn't work I would try a repair install and try and get things back to the default setup.

You could try and remove it completely and then reinstall it again.
