Trying to find out my optical drive model on my laptop. The drive listed in the Device Manager is not correct. It's not a model with a just a screw under the drive and I was trying to avoid having to take too much apart. How can I get to a bootup screen with that shows the primary and secondary masters? The drive listed in the Device Manager is not correct. thanks

Have you checked msinfo32.exe to see if it shows the drive correctly? Check under the components entries.

No just says (Standard CD-Rom Drives) for Manufacturer and CD-Rom Drive for Name. It's a DVD Multi Player.
