Details: its win 7 ultimate
Aspire D255
Intel atom processor N550 1.5ghz 1mb l2 cache
1gb ddr3 memory

Problem: when i open the notebook and the sounds are enabled or even if i put music on the speakers will just give off a sound that is irritating to the ears....its like a frequency sound or something its like....a bit painful in the ears...and i dunno why it sounds like that

Solution
I can't really think of another reason your system would be having such a problem. If it was confined to only one type of sound file, I might understand.

But all I can suggest is to reinstall the sound drivers. Maybe some codec has gotten messed up.

If the unit is still in warranty, I would think about having it looked at by Aspire.

Might possibly be feedback. Have you tried turning down the volume or muting the microphone?

I will assume you are referring to the built in speakers..?
