I would like to, in Win 10, set a time and date for Defrag/Optimize
Looking for advice on accomplishing this

Thanks in advamce

Solution

^^ Still valid

Look for "ScheduledDefrag" under Task Scheduler -> Task Scheduler Library -> Microsoft -> Defrag

An image from 'Schedule specific time to run a task'. First image shows a scheduled defrag task in Windows Task Scheduler; second image shows the trigger settings for that task.

This is built into Windows 10, simply launch the defrag program and click on the Change Settings button to change the schedule.

I set defrag to run at 3 am every Wednesday.
Figured it's best to run when we\re all asleep.
Tried to check it today and am unable to
Defrag does not show on the task list, and I can not launch defrag
