My system restore doesn't stay active. I have started several times, assigned disc space, and made several manual restore points, but when I reboot and open system restore, it says it's not been started. Is anyone else having this issue and does anyone have a solution. Thanks for your help.

Presumably you have checked Computer (or System)>Properties>System Protection>Configure, then made sure "Turn off system protection" is not checked, and adjusted the Disk Space Usage slider?

Yes, I checked to make sure it was on and increased the disc usage for restore from 0 to 6.1gb and made new restore point. it states new restore point created and when I check, the restore point is there. After i reboot, the restore point is gone.
