📎 AI Summary:
The thread discusses difficulty in burning an ISO file of Office 2016 to DVD using Windows 10, with the original poster noting that the native option to burn ISO files is missing. Another user suggests using a third-party program like ImgBurn, which the original poster confirms resolves the issue, likely because they are using Windows 10 Home instead of Pro, which may lack the built-in feature. Overall, the solution proposed is to use third-party software to burn ISO files on Windows 10 Home editions.

I downloaded an ISO file of Office 2016 and have the ISO file in my downloads folder. Windows 7 had an option to burn the ISO file without the need of a third-party solution. Supposedly Windows 10 does also, but when I right-click on the file I don't see the option to burn it to a DVD. A blank DVD is already in my optical drive. I don't want to Copy or Send to because that will of course simply copy the ISO file to my DVD. I want to burn the image to a DVD. Do I need to download and use a third-party program such as ImgBurn?

An image from 'Windows 10 has no option to burn an ISO file'. Windows desktop showing a Downloads folder with a right-click menu open on an ISO file.

Odd as it should look like.

An image from 'Windows 10 has no option to burn an ISO file'. First image shows a Windows Downloads folder with an ISO file selected and context menu open. Second image shows a Windows folder with Windows ISO files selected and context menu open on a desktop with a black and red wallpaper.

I think the reason is because I have the Home and not the Pro version. I downloaded and installed ImgBurn and it works great.
