I upgraded to Windows 11 and I hate it.

My main complaint is that it in order to look cute Windows 11 is consuming a lot of my screen space. So I suddenly have less information available at sight than before.

The File Explorer takes this to the extreme.

My question is whether there are options to get the old look and feel of Windows 10 back.

File explorer can be and does look the same save for the icons and rounded curves and both Windows 10 and 11 explorer can be made to look the same as one another. You'll need to be more specific on what you're trying to change.

I am mostly using text mode. So without icons. And there is a lot more space between the lines and in front of the lines
