Everything works fine until I install Office 2007 (Enterprise). After that, Windows Update returns 80072EFF error and cannot get to its assigned server. Other access to the Internet is not affected. I've done and undone this three times with the same effect.

I appreciate your trouble looking things up and answering my request. If I understand correctly, your are suggesting that my problem is the Windows Firewall.

However, when I turn off the Windows Firewall, it does not affect the problem.
