Windows 7 Windows Media Player 12 doesn't open up

I am using Microsoft Windows 7 Professional 64 bit.
Recently i have started facing this problem, whenever i click on Windows media player it will not open up or it will flash for a sec and close down.
I have tried uninstall and reinstall but it didn't help.

If i right click and run as administrator then it works, Other wise normal click it doesn't open up.

Try to download it and reinstall

It doesn't not allow me to install the file.
It says this update is not applicable to ur computer.
