Sorry this is a common question but either previous threads didnt help or I did not understand. Great connection but no internet access. The wireless internet works fine on other lap tops and I have rebooted. Please ensure advice is in simple terms as not that well experienced.

Solution
Goto control panel, network and sharing, change adapter settings, right click on your wireless adapter and select properties.

Single click on Internet protool version 4 and click on properties,

Check the option to "obtain dns server address automatically".

If this doesn't sort we'll have to look further at other settings.

Did this just start happening recently or has this been going on for some time? Sometimes a simple reboot of the router is all that is needed. To do this, unplug the router from the power outlet and wait for one minute, then plug router back in.
