📎 AI Summary: The user in the forum thread is seeking help to configure their VPN setup so that only specific traffic (database connections) goes through the VPN, while all other traffic routes through their router/ISP. They clarify they are a client using OpenVPN and are unsure if split tunneling can be configured client-side, as they want to avoid all traffic going through the VPN. Responses suggest that split tunneling can be set up by editing the OpenVPN configuration file, not just on the server, to achieve their goal.
Hello! When turn on the vpn, when navigate first is going throught vpn, instead my router... So, is there any way to setup default gateway my router when vpn is active?
I use OpenVPN to connect to database. But when is ON my traffic goes to vpn instead my router. I need all my traffic go to my router/isp and ONLY the database connection (will fail if intent at my router/isp) go through vpn/remote server
