I can see all computers in network places, I can access files from XP and Win 7 but can't access files on XP from Win 8 Pro, although Win 8 Pro can access files on Win 7, XP and Win 8 Pro are connected to router via Ethernet cable, Win 7 is wireless. I can transfer files from XP to Win 8 Pro, but I can access files on XP from Win 8 Pro, When I try to access files on XP from Win 8 Pro I get an error message, "windows can not access \\ Xp computer" I have read for a week, and can't find the answer.

This Windows 8 is a pain in the butt, after taking years to get used to XP I am no further than someone who never saw a computer. A real pain.

Hope someone can help.

God bless
James
