What Exactly is the Unified Contacts Experience?​

Imagine a world where your contacts—no matter where they were created—are no longer trapped within isolated apps. Today, if you add a new client to your Teams contact list, that entry would only live in Teams until you manually recreate it elsewhere, like Outlook. But with Microsoft’s unified contacts system, all those contacts now live in one centralized, synchronized ecosystem via the Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure Active Directory). The result? A single, live-updating contact pool across both Microsoft Teams and Outlook.

Key Features of Unified Contacts Experience​
