I'd like to know if I can install a windows operating system just by clicking the setup. If yes, then what the difference with installing from a bootable flashdrive or bootable dvd?

If you boot from a Disk or zip drive then you perform what's called a clean install. This means you can wipe the drive clean and start afresh.
