I uninstalled the messaging app because I could not send messages, and then re installed from the app store, but it keeps showing ''pending 0 progress'' although it's been ages (more than 6 hours). It's not installing. After 6 hours, installation failed and it gave error code 0x8024001e Can you please help and advise what went wrong???

Uninstall it again, reboot then install...see what that does for you.
