Just installed a new 256GB SSD. Installed Windows 7. Windows is running fine but now even the BIOS does not recognize the SATA HDs.

Well, even in the info you provided for you system, you do not specify your drive configuration. If the SSD is being handled normally, what other drives and which ports are not being handled correctly?
