Windows 7 internet explorer/mozilla/safari browsers

those 3 dont work anymore since i reformatted. there is no reason i can find so i am stuck with chrome which i am told spies on everybody. i dont have any stats as to why the other 3 dont work and cant figure out how to delete ie and cant find ie8 to download anywhere. opera works sometimes but chrome works all the time but does not seem to like the microsoft website updates. thankyou for taking the time to read this. cheers helen c
