Whenever I print something in Windows 7 I need to restart my print spooler to get it to print. If I simply upgrade to Windows 10 will that problem follow me? If so, is there anything special I need to know about doing a clean install? I've never done one before. I have Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit. Also is it possible that my Lexmark X-6675 printer will no longer be compatible anyway? It's a few years old.

Yes your problem MAY follow you. No there isn't anything special to a doing a clean install, back up your data and get the creation tool an create the media here. Link Removed As for whether or not your printer will work there is not specifically a Windows 10 driver for your printer but there is one for 7 and 8. Chances are that one of these will work just fine. In my opinion printers have a really good fudge factor when it comes to drivers so the Windows 8 will probably work.
