Windows 7 problems installing win 7

i purchased a hp6000 laptop that has linux loaded on it when i try to install win 7 it keeps telling me end of cetral directory signatue not found please help!!!!

You will need to reformat the drive first - easiest way is probably by using the advanced options at install startup.

What brand is the Laptop? You may need drivers for it besides what is built into Windows. Since it came loaded with Linux you might also want to run Windows Upgrade Advisor Link Removed first.
