    Windows 7 Problem with nvidia geforce 9800gt and windows 7

    I have just installed windows 7 64-bit, and my graphics card is nvidia geforce 9800 gt. The problem is that my screen resolution is stuck at 800*600 with color depth 16-bit, and i can change it. I have tried EVERYTHING with no results. Can you give me a solution???

    Windows 7 Extremely frustrating problem! Nvidia drivers won't work, have solved first part.

    I've gotten past the install, I installed with onboard graphics and put the card in after, and it booted up with the default vga drivers. This is where it gets weird, I installed the Nvidia drivers (tried both 185 and 190, to no avail) and restarted the computer, and it gave me the same problem...
