Build 10149 is now available for fast ringers.
Not so fast.... it's a Windows 10 Mobile Build (for phones).
But if you're a Windows 10 Phoney... like me, then you may (or may not) be interested.
Maybe take a look here

It seems that Microsoft bring out a new operating system every 3 years or so. It is getting impossible to keep up with it.
The recent new version of Windows is Windows 10 which I have tried one of the builds a few months ago. While I found that all of the software that I used on Windows 8 works...

I want to start a thread on bugs which members are finding in Windows 10. This is not affiliated with the Insider program, but of interest to us nerds who ar following the progress of the builds. Write whatever yo have found.
To get us started:
The Start menu could be more versatile.

A confession. There is so little major difference, between Windows 8.1 and theTtechnet preview, that I have become rather disinterested in it.
I am a dedicated and enthusiastic poster in discussion and help, where problems are encountered. Of late, on all the forums I visit, the posts on these...
I have read most of this thread & really, tried to keep tabs on it as it continues to have additions. W/out bothering w/ whether an original Key is lost or replaced, whether an original Recovery partition is lost or replaced when a production OS is overwritten by a beta OS, I'm going to suggest...

It is terrific to be able to, internally, upgrade Builds! The amount of time & trouble, fuss, actions, it saves us Beta Testers!! This is a most, welcome & wonderful development! Much nicer than 'the old days' (ways)!
YEA!!
And it only shows via WU in Windows 10 machines.
Cheers,
Drew
Anyone been following this recent development?
Looks like, at least for Windows 8, Microsoft is dumping the OEM EULA concept and introducing a new Personal Use License Model, for those of us who do our own builds.
Finally!

No Beta OS should be installed except, as follows:
1. On a spare machine
2. Virtually
3. As a dual-boot.
Never as an Upgrade or replacement to an existing, current, non-beta OS. Never on a production machine.
Nor, BTW, can one move from 1 Beta of an OS to the next or from Beta to...

Microsoft recently allowed select OEM partners to download updated preview builds of Windows 8. Since then, there have been several leaked images of supposedly new features that you might see in the next version of Windows when it launches (perhaps in early 2012). And Microsoft showed off some...
If you’ve seen images of the Windows 8 desktop, then you’ve also seen Microsoft’s not-at-all-subtle warning about sharing the digital goodies you’ve been fortunate enough to get your hands on early. With the number of leaked builds which have made the rounds going all the way back to the early...
Over the past several weeks, videos and screenshots of preview and developer builds of Windows 8 have leaked all over the Web. The most recent video to make an appearance shows us the system settings for Metro UI, or the interface elements that most users will recognize from Windows Phone 7...
It’s probably going to be a while before Microsoft offers any official Windows 8 previews, but early builds have already been leaked to several sites around the Internet. As you’d expect, Windows die-hards are chomping at the bit to see what’s new in Windows 8 and they’re digging furiously to...

A preview build of Windows 8 has gone out to select Microsoft partners, with bits of the “Twin UI” and other updates . Those builds are under seemingly heavy lock and key, but at least one thing has fallen onto the net: the default wallpaper . What should Microsoft try to accomplish in the...
Software Imperium Microsoft has begun to distribute early copies of Windows 8 to key OEM chums to give them a chance to play with it.
