I have removed Comodo firewall from my computer,using the Control panel.

I just ran Ccleaner and ran the registry cleaner and well as cleaned all the temp files and such. Now I find that I cannot access my email in Firefox or IE. Cookies are enabled in Firefox. Does anyone have any tricks I can try? :confused:

Everytime several programmes I use (Word, Excel, Solidworks etc.) opens a file, it creates a temporary backup file (starting with a tilde ~) in the same directory as the original. This makes my folders look very messy and makes it diffiuclt to find others files in the same folder.
