Hello ya'll. I have uninstalled Setpoint Software with Advanced Uninstaller but of course, checking through the Registry, I do find at least one remnant of it still.
I'll post a screenshot of what I mean. I need to know if I should delete the whole folder or just the stuff within the folder...
When I boot up windows 7, an hour glass appears. But of late it takes longer and longer for the
hour-glass to disappear. I understand that some function/app or otherwise is in the background, possibly loading.
How can I find out what is running in the background that the system is trying...

An investigation of my 64bit Win 7 systems shows that the folder
C:\Windows\assembyl\NativeImages_v2.0.50727_64\Temp\
has almost 12 GB content. I have never seen such a big space occupation before (for a Windows "Temp")
directory. I must have bloated in the last weeks.

Hi
Today I was trying to delete some old video project folders.
I had one folder that had dozens of files created by Adobe Premiere Elements that I don't need to keep anymore.
The thing was that every time I tried to delete them I got a message saying that the file names were too long to...

Assume some programs (which of cause do not belong to the "core" Win 7 system) created some services..
During deinstallation the original programs these programs do NOT cleanup their corrsponding services.
So is there a way to deinstall services later in another way?
I don't want to just...
Hi. I know how to disable creation of thumbs.db, and now know how to delete them locally (using Disk Cleanup), but some were created on external drives before I had disabled creation of them, and it seems Disk Cleanup isn't able to access these drives. Any advice on deleting all thumbs.db files...

Once you are committed to your upgrade to Windows 10 it is time to recover some space on your hard drive. This will help you free up that space by removing your old Windows installation that was backed up during the upgrade to Windows 10.

I had 5 files =oice in %temp% which would never go away as all files eventually do.
There are other files seen on the attachment. I used uncover to remove the oice files but am unsure if I should remove these in the attachment.
I ran DISM and finally reported no corruption.

I have 8.1 and ran Ccleaner Windows tab with checks as they are by default.

Hey all I have an older gateway here that was just full of viruses and whatnot after some cleanup it was still just buggy so I restored it to day one but I realize windows xp support has ended, is there anyway to bring it up to date manually easily?
I suppose my foray into Torrents ended up causing me a few minor problems. It might be fun to try to remove whatever is actually causing this, but Malware Bytes has found problems prior and these are recent so the problem endures.
If I wanted to try to remove the problem, any suggestions...
I used the disc with a generic key to install and my 8 key to activate. All went well but the cleanup system files will not close. It removes bits at a time but the fan is humming and it does not say successful or close. It does chip away so there are a few mbs left.
I was hoping to close so I...
