For roughly the past two months I have been having recurring BSODs which point to various files as the culprit (mainly ntoskrnl.exe though nvvad64v.sys has also turned up more than once, and dxgmms1.sys and hiber_amdsbs.sys have also cropped up).
I don't always get a BSOD, however. Sometimes...

just noticed my computer is running its CPU's at 20-40%, heating up my CPU, due to the above program.
I have windows 7 pro, and have not maybe any recent changes that I can recall.
what to do?
thanks.
I generally understand the CPU activity graphs in the resource monitor, with the exception of the first one...the total CPU activity displayed on it at first glance makes sense, when looking at the area shown in green, which is the total CPU activity, but there is also a blue line above that...
Hello, I have a fresh install of Windows 7 Ultimate x64, but I had this problem before. Basically, after 20-30 minutes of playing, I get BSOD (minidump attached).
Specs:
MB: ASUS P5K SE/EPU
CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600@ 2.40GHz
RAM: 6 Gb (2x A-data 2Gb and 2x Kingston 1Gb)

Got this problem after building a new computer (from scratch) and finished installing all the drivers, programs and related stuff. Began to play around with it (overclocking, overvolting, etc.) and found stables for everything.
After this:

I just had the first BSOD since I did a clean install. I would have attached a screenshot of what BlueScreenView had to say about it, but didn't see anything in the post options that provides that ability. Can't we upload attachments any longer? In any case, the gist of it is that it's coded...

Lately I've been getting BSODs but not while gaming or stress testing my computer. It's seemingly at random and has happened twice today while simply doing things in Firefox (First was registering new Logitech gear on their website, second was another website I dont recall which one.) The...

I've always gone by the adage of "if it's not broke, don't fix it", but that doesn't stop me from wondering. My motherboard has had two BIOS updates released since the one I have installed. The first one is only for changing from AM3 to AM3+, which I don't need since I just have the AMD 1090T...

Hi,
I have a DELL STUDIO 1450 Laptop with a Core 2 Duo P8700. Recent games are very much lagging on my system. I was wondering about upgrading my processor. I found a QX9300 on an online shopping site. But after goggling I'm confused whether I can upgrade my processor or not. I couldn't find an...
Hey everyone!
So, for a bout a year and a half, I've had this weird problem where for example, if I would be scrolling down a page in Firefox, there was a stutter going on every few seconds. The same kind of deal would happen when watching videos...if there was a movement whatsoever in the...
