I cleaned out an old laptop and re-installed win xp. Put all the usual programs on it. I joined it to our office domain.
Now something weird is happening.
If the office's network cable is plugged in it boots up fine and quickly too.
If you take the network cable out it displays the desktop...

Then enabling sharing on the folder(s)
Then do the same on the other machines
And there its done! Why the heck, doesnt it work???
