Yeah, I currently have Windows 7 Build 7600, so is there any difference between this one and the final released version of Windows 7. I know this one expires early next year, but other than that is there a difference?
I have Windows 7 RC 64-bit Ultimate installed using the product key supplied. I believe it expires June 2010
I also downloaded and installed Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit that did not require a key for activation, and I believe it expires in 90 days, and cannot be upgraded.
Queation? Are these the...
I currently have the RC installed, but prior to this installation I had the public beta installed. Before installing the RC I performed a complete wipe followed by a clean install. A couple weeks ago I started receiving expiration notifications. I am now being affected by the bi-hourly...

Hi,
It's my understanding that starting March 11th, those who are running W7 RC1 will experience an auto shutdown every 2 hours. Then, in June, the RC1 will lock you out of your system. Even if you buy the retail copy of W7 before June, there is no way to do an in place upgrade, rather, you...

when does build 7057 expire? on my disc it says august 1 2009. i thought i read in the forum that some build doesnt expire until 2010. im running the 7000 build is there any advantage of upgrading to 7057 ? also what is the name of the most recent build?
Hi everyone.
It seems that we CAN use W7 until a retail version is released. Unless it was an almighty bo bo by Microsoft the 7057 build (best so far even in its X-32 incantation) doesn't expire until Mar 2010.
If the official RC1 expires before that I'm sure there will be some...
When Windows 7 Beta expires in August, will there be a way to return to Vista? I noticed when installing the beta a folder called "Windows.old" was created. I assume this contains all the needed Vista system files. If you can't go back, what's the point of this folder?
