Hi There, I have an IBM laptop with simple build ( Find details in Attachment ). When I install Windows Live 2009 on Windows 7 (b 7000). It hangs up my computer and only way to get rid of this is remove power plug....can anyone help me with this ?

ok so my problem is that windows 7 has recently started hanging each time i try to open a folder and it shows me the little wait circle, it only lasts for about a second or so but it is highly annoying because it only started to do it about a week ago if anyone else has run into this problem...

Whenever I open an excel or word which was created by earlier versions, excel and word applications hang. Even if i close the application, it wont get closed. Shut down also doesnt work. I need to do a manual hardboot. Any idea how this can be resolved?
