Microsoft has been cranking out updates to enhance, iterate, or sometimes bloat its beloved (and occasionally pesky) Windows operating system. On November 22, 2024, the latest non-security patch for Windows 11 24H2—titled KB5046740—was unleashed. And let's just say, it brings gifts in the form...

On my systems, Windows Explorer is pinned to the taskbar at position 2. This enables the key sequence <Win> 2 to open the Explorer.
I have several folders pinned to Explorer. This allows for the key sequence <Win><Alt> 2, then m to open the Explorer on the pinned folder named "Metrics."...

Hi,
Tried to customize the Start menu, but the Right click is not possible (the selection box simply doesn'show up), either at the Jump or Start program list.
Everywhere else is possible though.
What is the solution?
Thanks

One of the applications I use shows Chinese and Japanese text in jumplist as squares. This is happening only on one computer. I tested it on some several other (32 and 64 bit) computers and it is showing everything correctly. The computer that it is not working correctly is running 32bit version...
hi, I've created a couple of new toolbars with shortcuts to my most used programs and documents inside. the problem is, the jumplists for them are not big enough. Idealy I'd prefer to just have icons in the jumplist and have them twice the size.
Also, I'd like to have the button for the jumplist...
