As of 7 pm last night, Build 7022.winmain.090115-1850 was leaked to the internet.
It's of the Release Candidate branch, and appears to have a build date of January 15th, 2009.
It's hotfix #850, meaning about 450 changes since the Beta (Hotfix 400).
Mind you, those changes probably aren't that...

I just read on Neowin.net and verified by going to https://www.microsoft.com/windows/windows-7/default.aspx that Microsoft has added a link to the top of their Windows 7 page to download the beta. It is not funtioning as of this time.
Could this be an early Christmas present for the public...

Windows 7 PDC DVD build 6801 is now leaked on the internet. I'm not going to tell you where, though. Also, this build doesn't have the new start menu or task bar, that's Microsoft's internal demo, which is build 6933, which is not leaked.

Personally I've never gone down the watercooling road but as the manufacturers make it easier and more accessible it really does start to become an attractive...
According to certain sites, Vista SP1 64bit was available via the update utility(as of 22-02-08). This 'loophole' has now been closed but I just wondered if anyone out there has had any experience of this?
Well, I've found some screenshots of Windows 7 M1, courtesy of http://www.thinknext.net/archives/2124. No new interface yet, but it does have power shell.
In the start menu, the new things are Power Shell and XPS Viewer EP.

As for the gui:don't worry vista's gui in that phase of development also wasn't there(the hope dies always last)!
