I have what I would call “Ghost Files” in my Documents directory. These were left over after I moved the original document to another location and I can’t seem to be able to delete them. They are a combination of MS Word documents, video or Excel items. The pop-up box tells me “This is no...

The taskbar icons (the ones I've pinned to the taskbar) for MS Word and MS Excel are showing broken/not found icons. They were there for some time and the a few days ago showed broken.
The icons in the system menu display correctly.
How do I correct this?
Thanks,
MauiNick

Hi all,
I just installed Windows 7 on my Fujitsu T5010. After a few driver hiccups, I've got everything working great now. However, I just found an odd problem.
My Math Input Panel (MIP) recognizes my handwriting almost without flaws, but it will not actually input an equation when I push...
It appears that Microsoft is going to play the pity card in their ongoing battle with i4i and the injunction against Microsoft's use of Custom XML which i4i holds the patent to. Microsoft is, perhaps with a somewhat less cocky attitude than they displayed during the recent proceedings, now...
Anytime I attempt to open an Open Office or MSword document (in open office) from windows explorer, I get a error message that says "requested operation requires elevation."
I don't seem to be able to locate any info about this message.
