Both Apple and Microsoft are betting on H264 for HTML5 video, while Firefox and Opera focus on WebM and Opera does both. Microsoft, however, is kind of an oddball; they first stated they would limit HTML5 video support in Internet Explorer 9 to H264, excluding all other codecs, but later made an...

Strange. I turned on Aero interface and the best settings, but the view of both the Opera and the Desktop is a strange. I think there is something missing.
If you're a Firefox user, you may already know about this.
Perhaps you have the plugin "GreaseMonkey" installed.
All the same extensions available for that plugin, mostly all work in Google Chrome as well.
Simply head on over to Home | Tampermonkey and search away!
The extensions integrate...

So last night I couldn't sleep and decided to log back onto my Acer to surf the web when I found 32-bit IE didn't work. It locks up instantly and can only be closed by ending the process from the process list in the task manager. 64-bit IE still works. Firefox and Opera both don't work. I'd be...

Opera confirms " highly critical" browser bug in "Windows Versions of Opera 10 and 10.5. According to "Scunins Report" theoretically the flaw could be used to corrupt memory, crash Opera and execute attack code.
In an 64 environment the bug would crash Opera, in a 32 , memory...
Basically, this issue seems to pop up at any time, with no warning, the only common thread being that some sort of audio is on. Sometimes it goes for hours without it, even a day, other times it crashes with barely five minutes' break between crashes. If the audio distort is in a program, for...

This is a problem i've noticed since I installed Windows 7, none of the settings I change for any of my programs are being saved, for instance when I set up Opera to be my main web browser it will reset as soon as I close it, and keep asking me if I want to set it as my main browser, this goes...
Internet slow after boot
Hello,
I've noticed that after win 7 has loaded, the internet acces is very slow. It takes a long time to open an internet page.
After approx. 10 minutes everything works fine at full speed.
I've tested with firefox, opera and explorer so it isn't a browser problem...
I don't think I've ever deliberately used IE unless I had to so I'm not including it here. I have used Opera, Firefox and Chrome/Chromium on a pretty much equal basis over the past year or so, with Chrome probably taking the lead.
What I've found is that published browser speed comparisons...
