hello you all after a repair operation with the installation disc of Windows7 (64Bits) the icons on my desktop have an un- wanted overlay. (sea attached screen-shot) How can I go back to my icons without these annoying overlays ? Thanks beforehand for any help/advise

Recently I've noticed certain websites will fade darker as I scroll down while remaining light on top, as if a dark overlay is on top. I cannot figure out how to disable this. I recently upgraded my graphics card which is around the time this started happening. I am using Windows 7 64 bit Pro.

I was trying to get rid of the desktop shortcut icons's arrows and end up covering them with some kind of layer. I was using this application from frameworx, fx visor. Now all my icons except the recycle bin are all covered. Any solution to fix ths problem?
