Windows 7 Keep from automatically wanting to scan my external USB drives when I pllug them in.
Whenever I plug in one of my external USB drives, Windows automatically pops up a window asking me if I want to scan it for errors. Where do I change settings so that it does not automatically do this every time? Thanks- docweathers

Windows 7 Disk Management no longer automatically assigning drive letters to external usb hard drives.

Windows 7 memory card loading as the hard drive
Very strange thing happening. When I plug my compactflash card into my memory card reader a window opens showing a new drive(G) but it shows the contents of my second hard drive(D). My external hard drive loads correctly as does my ipod. I am using windows 7- 64 bit any ideas?- Shumboom
