I accidentally clicked sleep mode when shutting down the computer, and now it won't wake up. I can hear the fan running, but nothing is showing up on the screen, nor is the power light on. Help?
When I open the Lid on this Toshiba L675-OOX Laptop, everything pops up out of sleep the way it should.
When I run it on Battery power, I can lift the Lid but it will not come out of Sleep. If I move the mouse, it does.
Can someone point out to me how to fix this so that when I lift the Lid...

I have a Microsoft brand USB mouse connected by wire to a desktop computer. When I allow the computer to go to sleep, I cannot wake it up via the mouse. A tap on the keyboard will wake the computer up, but all I get out of the mouse is a slight twitch before it freezes. Once I am back onto...
My laptop will go to sleep BUT when I wake it up I get a backlight and fan, and that is it.
To recover, I must disconnect power, pull the battery, replug all that and cold boot.
It just started this about a week ago. Before that it worked just fine.
A windows update may be responsible as I have...

This is fairly simple, but useful. You can create an alarm clock with Windows Media Player in scheduled tasks (Task Scheduler) by programming the following into the Task Scheduler:
Step 1: Launch Task Scheduler
Start
Search
Task Scheduler
OR
Start Key +R
Run...
taskschd.msc /s
Step 2...
