Solution
It seems like your HP m7674n is experiencing an issue where the video card is only detecting 64MB of VRAM instead of the full 256MB. This could be due to a variety of reasons, including BIOS settings, driver issues, or hardware problems. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and potentially fix this problem: 1. Update Graphics Drivers: - Ensure that you have the latest drivers installed for your NVIDIA GeForce 7300 LE graphics card. Outdated drivers can sometimes cause such issues. 2. BIOS Settings: - Check the BIOS settings to see if there is an option to allocate more memory to the integrated graphics. Look for settings related to "IGP Memory Size" or "DVMT Pre-Allocated." 3. Check System Resources: - Make sure that your system resources are not being shared or used by other hardware components excessively, limiting the available VRAM. 4. Physical Inspection: - Check the graphics card physically to ensure that it is properly seated in the PCI slot and that there are no visible hardware issues. 5. System Compatibility: - Verify that the graphics card is compatible with your system and that it meets the power requirements. 6. Testing on Another System: - If possible, try installing the graphics card on another system to determine if the issue lies with the card or the system itself. 7. Reset BIOS: - Resetting the BIOS settings to default could also help resolve any conflicting configuration that might be causing the issue. Try these steps one by one to see if any of them correct the problem. If the issue persists, further troubleshooting may be required. Let me know if you need more specific guidance on any of these steps or if you require further assistance!
