Windows 7 A little problem

Hello everyone, hope you all are ok.

From 3 days ago my windows 7 ultimate suddenly hangs and freezes a lot.
i did a complete scan with Avast 6, Anti-Malware and Super anti-spyware
the problem was still exist. i thought the problem with the hard disk, i did also a complete scan with Disk Regenerator and no error was found.

I couldn't use much more than 1 minute, it always freeze up upon opening a folder or copying a file. even copying 100 MB could take 1 hour.
i managed to backup some of my files from the windows partition to re-install the windows.
but just now i boot it up to get a pre-black screen says that some files are missing or corrupted. system restore and windows repair both failed to fix anything.

is there any way to fix the windows temporarily to backup my files ?
or can i install a different windows alongside the current one so i can access it from there and backup my files ?

i did something like that before with windows XP, the old one got into a folder "old.windows" or something, but now i'm not sure how to do that as i'm afraid risking losing it.

thanks for any help and sorry for the long time.

Did you try to set back to an earlier restore point.

For saving your stuff, this is a good option too: Link Removed - Invalid URL

wow i will try one of those 2 methods
i can't believe i forgot to use the Fedora boot CD to back up them
also Lucid puppy looks a good way too, i will make a CD out of it soon

and any of you got this type of installing a second Windows and the old one got into "old.windows" folder ?
i'm pretty sure it happened to me but forgot what i did.

anyway thx for the solution :)
regards
