Please keep in mind, avoiding some or all of these updates may cause your environment to be unstable and/or unsecure, but imho better unstable and/or unsecure than Microsoft spying on me.

Theres no IF about it mate... blocking those patches will have a bad effect on your systems stability.

p.s. if you don't want Microsoft or any one else spying on you then go do a networking course and build yourself an Edian firewall... this old school fix will bugger any modern ip6 spy code but it's a VERY steep learning curve.

Just to add to ussnorways post: imo getting bent out of shape about data collection is a little like shutting the barn door after the horse has bolted. If you own a phone, shop online or use credit then your already in the system and stopping critical updates will make no changes to that effect. I understand that no one likes the thought of being 'snooped on' but to cripple your machine because of it is going a tad far.

Well . . Uninstalled ALL updates that i posted above
and my beautiful Windows 7 works perfectly!

But i'm not upgrading to Windows 10 even if there was not Microsoft spyware
simply because Windows 10 is UGLY compared to Windows 7..

If i encounter any issue with my Windows 7 running without the above updates
i will make sure i'll come here and report it.

    Cheers!
