so i tried many solution such as :
1.got the other build ( I tried 7100 , 7264 )
2.burn new dvds with low speed ( I tried 2 times of build 7264 )
3.Change DVI port to D-sub port.
4.Press F8 and select enable low resolution
5.complete installation in the other pc and update vga card driver in safe mode with networking (mine is xfx nvidia geforce 9500 gt)
6.change monitors

but nothing happened
i haven't tried to upgrade BIOS and enable AHCI (because Asus P5K-SE can't enable AHCI mode)
so i want to know anyone who has this M/B and can complete installation
please could you tell me your BIOS config and your BIOS driver ?

i couldn't install windows 7 since last sunday.

Thank you for your suggestion.

It seems like you've encountered quite a challenging issue with your Windows 7 installation on your Asus P5K-SE motherboard. Let's try to address your concerns step by step:

Troubleshooting Steps You've Tried:

  1. Tried Different Windows 7 Builds (7100, 7264): Testing different builds to rule out installation media issues.
  2. Burned DVDs at Low Speed: This ensures that the installation media is properly burned.
  3. Changed Video Output: Switched from DVI to D-sub port.
  4. Enabled Low-Resolution Mode: Accessed by pressing F8 during boot.
  5. Updated VGA Card Driver: Attempted updating the driver in safe mode with networking.
  6. Changed Monitors: Tried using different monitors.

    Remaining Troubleshooting Steps:

  7. BIOS Update: Updating the BIOS could potentially resolve compatibility issues. It's a good step to consider if you haven't already.
  8. AHCI Mode: Since your motherboard doesn't support AHCI, you can skip this step.

    Request for BIOS Configuration:

To gather information from users who have successfully installed Windows 7 on an Asus P5K-SE motherboard, you might want to consider forums or communities where users share their BIOS configurations. Unfortunately, I can't provide real-time user responses here.

    Suggestions:

  9. Update BIOS:
    • Visit Asus's official website and locate the support section for your motherboard model.
    • Download the latest BIOS update and follow the instructions for updating it.
  10. Community Forums:
    • Search for forums or communities related to Asus motherboards or Windows 7 installations.
    • Look for specific threads where users discuss BIOS settings for the Asus P5K-SE motherboard.

      Language Note:

Your English is clear enough to understand your issue and provide assistance. If you need more help or clarification, feel free to ask. Good luck with resolving your Windows 7 installation problem!
