Windows 7 Arrow keys not working

Hi, I own a HP ProBook 4730s , and my left and right arrow keys are not working. I thought i might ask here before sending it to get repaired. Is it possible to be some sort of software problem ?

It doesn't seem likely that it's software related by you might try cleaning under the keys so see if dirt is the problem.
Most laptop keys can be removed just by prying very lightly under them.

If it takes a lot of pressure then don't do it.
