Windows 7 64 bit build 7000 i frequently get an action center message stating that there is an error with my gamemidiport and it refers me to get the update from asustek. I got the update and attempted to install it according to the directions given on the action center page but when i look for the device on the device manager list it is not there. The update is not self -install and i haven't been able to find a way to get windows to recognize it. How would i go about fixing this issue please? Motherboard is asus a8n32 -sli deluxe socket 939.

Solution
legacy hardware is fast becoming unsupported its the onboard stuff just go into the bios and turn it off if you don't use it that is as most Joysticks/wheel/pads are now usb
